My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! It was definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy! The hosts Guya and Matteo are so warm and personable – you truly feel like a long time friend who dropped in for a visit.
From the welcome on the veranda overlooking Florence, to the delicious wine, to the making of the pasta and gelato…. We were so sad when it was over!
They had tremendous knowledge of Italian foods and wine, but their welcoming and charming demeanors are what really make this experience special. We left with full bellies and spirits and a deep feeling of the warmth of the local culture.

This was the most amazing experience while in Florence! This is not just a cooking experience, it’s like visiting family and sharing that home feeling warmth. The class itself is great… the end result for dinner was exquisite! The location was picture perfect! The wine while creating the pasta and while having dinner was local and delicious! I will add this to my TOP Italian experience! This class is perfect for the entire family… it’s cozy, welcoming, charming and unique. They treated us like family! I can’t wait to come back and prepare another delicious dish from our host’s Nonna’s recipe. Definitely the highlight of our Italian Holiday!!!

About the experience
We’ll pick you up at the meeting point in the city and drive you to our family villa in the Florentine hills — just about 10 minutes away. Once you arrive, we’ll cook together the recipes my grandparents lovingly taught me.
With just eggs and flour, you’ll make two types of fresh pasta by hand: ravioli and tagliatelle. We’ll also prepare homemade meatballs in tomato sauce, and finally, we’ll show you how to create a delicious homemade gelato.
Throughout the experience, you’ll enjoy a tasting of excellent organic Tuscan wines. On beautiful sunny days, you’ll dine outside on our panoramic terraces; during winter or rainy weather, you’ll enjoy your meal in our warm and welcoming family kitchen.
